Initial Testing and Trials

Our initial testing has been very successful. The carrier loads and unloads as intended and has exceeded our expectations for carry capacity and resistance to fatigue failures from road vibrations or damage from sudden stress impacts due to road conditions such as potholes and speed bumps. These tests and user trials are significant for identifying design improvements, operating manuals and user assembly instructions. We are pleased to report that our trial customer feedback has been overwhelmingly positive, validating both the need for our product, the ease of use and overall value it provides.

Production Status

It's surprising just how much behind the scenes actions it can take to startup a new company to offer a new and novel product. While we have acquired most all of the machinery and designed, built and proven out all required tooling and fixtures for the Rock N Roll Trike Carrier, we now need to focus on optimization of our production processes. There are significant challenges of transition from a one-off manufacture of a product to a cost-efficient production facility to meet expected demand and this can take substantial effort and time. We are in the process of reducing the factory production cost to achieve a fair price point for our carrier.

What an adventure, as new entrepreneurs we are discovering many behind the scenes efforts that are not always apparent for developing a new product, things such as the review of regulatory needs for reflectorized safety decals, packaging for transport, user instruction manuals, user assembly manuals these all take a bit more effort and time than might be expected. Nothing that we are not able to work through, however as new business owners we have been on a steep learning curve.

Check Out Our New Logo/Trademark

We have engaged with a marketing agent (Heather Moritz) to help us develop our image and presence on the web and other planned retail fronts. We will be adding a new logo to our website banner very soon. We think it's a pretty cool design and will be a nice enhancement to our brand.

One of our objectives is to keep our potential customers informed and engaged while we develop our business model and products. We are developing a business model and products that may adapt to both current trends and future demands in the cycling industry. Through these blog updates, we hope to foster an ongoing dialogue, ensuring that our customers are familiar with and benefit from our mission and vision. We are always open to ideas and input from cycling enthusiasts. Please send us any questions or ideas via our contact us page and we will do our best to respond with useful information.
